With a passion and long family history in winemaking, Schiavello is proud to produce Gioiello Estate wines, crafted to complement and enhance the enjoyment of food and festivities.
Gioiello Estate was the chosen name for this family winery, in recognition of past generations of the Schiavello family who worked at a property named Gioiello (‘jewel’ in Italian), perched above a hillside town in Calabria, Italy.
Our winemaking melds many traditional methods with some modern technological supports. Handpicking the majority of the grapes allows grape bunch selection in the vineyard so only our best grapes are harvested. We create Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc vines.
