Federation University expands tenancy to meet demand
Our Brisbane based construction team has revisited Federation University’s flagship Queensland campus to deliver an additional floor.
In addition to their current three-level fitout on 333 Anne Street, our team has begun the demolition phase on the 900sqm site across level eight.
Design and construct
Engaged under our Design and Construct (D&C) delivery model, our team has developed and completed the design based on architect Conrad Gargett’s work on the previous levels.
The design draws inspiration from workplaces of the future with ample open spaces to encourage flexible learning and increase interaction between staff and students. Conferencing and audio-visual capabilities will also promote cross-campus connectivity and remote learning functionalities.
“With the demolition nearing completion we’re looking forward to installing the new fitout. Works will include the installation of new fixtures, fittings, equipment, and services as well as providing all furniture to meet the university’s educational needs,” says Schiavello Project Manager, Enda O’Reilly.
Our team will also be constructing new teaching spaces, PC labs, and offices; all featuring technological integration to further support staff and students.
“In line with Federation University’s previous fitout, my team is eager to deliver a flexible and contemporary learning space that accommodates both traditional and digital teaching methods,” Enda adds.
