Eurofins’ state-of-the-art multidisciplinary testing campus is well underway
Our Sydney construction team, in close collaboration with Johnstaff, have been diligently working to maximise productivity on-site as the campus is being reconstructed from the ground up.
The site required major external works that included new steel configuration, façade, additional concrete works to allow for new footings and infills, as well as new columns, purlins and beams to allow for new roof sheeting.
In addition, a comprehensive internal fitout is also taking place that includes partitioning, doors, windows, plant, and technical finishing for the Clean room and PC2 laboratory areas.
The South Building has reached an advanced stage, already seeing the installation of finishes and furniture on both levels, and is set to commence lift installation in the coming weeks.
In the North Building, the focus is on services and partitioning with a seven-metre extension to be added in the next period.
The Eurofins Sydney Campus is on track to become a world-class GMP testing facility. Our rigorous multi-step sequence of construction, cleaning, commissioning and qualification tasks is on-track to meet, if not exceed the rigorous standards of Eurofins as well as the relevant regulatory bodies (TGA, APVMA, Dep. Of Agriculture etc.) in order to bring this cutting-edge campus to life.
