Manufacturing site subdivision

Our Brisbane team is set to complete major works at the Orora and Opal Manufacturing sites in Rocklea, Brisbane.

Working alongside the design and project management team from Graham Nicholas, this six-month restructure and upgrade project will subdivide the site to separate the two production facilities.

The proposed works, which will take place in a live environment, include infrastructure work as well as demolition and construction.

The extensive scope of this restructure covers the construction of a 700m2 structural steel portal frame truck canopy as well as the demolition, rebuild and fitout of an existing two-storey building. Infrastructure upgrades will include works on electrical, water, waste removal and underground drainage. New concrete slabs, fencing, security gates, roller doors and washdown bays will be installed to complete the project.

We will apply our extensive industrial project experience to help sustain future operations separately for Orora and Opal, with completion due in early 2022.
