The new office for Property Exchange Australia Ltd.
Australia’s leading online property transaction network, PEXA, has consolidated 200 staff into a new, centralised headquarters in Collins Square, Melbourne
Designed by architect Futurespace and constructed by Schiavello, the workplace is intended to reflect the PEXA brand and support the growing number of employees.
Designed to foster a positive company culture
The design layout centres on the café meeting area. More than just functional, the café is also a reflection of the brand’s beliefs of fostering a positive company culture. The breakout space is designed and constructed to encourage social interaction and staff collaboration.
An additional breakout space overlooks a central atrium. The abundance of natural light, together with the vertical gardens connects the inner city office to nature.
Schiavello joinery and furniture brings the office to life
The full floor fit-out included the supply and installation of partitions, ceilings, flooring, services and bespoke Prima Architectural Joinery.
The finished space encourages staff to break away from traditional modes of working through design features, a series of collaboration and breakout spaces, and Schiavello Systems’ sit-stand workstations.
“The space looks amazing, and we have now walked a number of people through it who have been very impressed with the end product. It’s been a fantastic project to be involved in.” James Ruddock, Group Executive, Finance and Corporate Services, PEXA
