A homely feeling
From the moment you walk through the doors into RSL Care Romani Residential Aged Care, it instantly feels like home. The design and layout are tailored to promote a sense of familiarity and comfort, with communal areas for socialising and private spaces for personal relaxation.
The 72 room development provides independent living for residents with private bedroom quarters and ensuites, landscaped courtyards, light-filled dining areas, a hair salon and plenty of space for activities. The multiple wings accommodate the different levels of care for residents.
Transformed within 18 months
What started as vacant land in a residential area of Murray Bridge, has been transformed within 18 months into an impressive 7,500sqm aged care facility by our highly experienced construction team. The collaborative effort with our project partners Walter Brooke, Rider Levett Bucknall, Moto Projects, PT Design and Bestec, aided the way in achieving the desired outcome for RSL Care’s vision.
The outstanding work onsite by our construction team included:
- Laying of concrete slab
- Site infrastructure
- Timber frame and truss installation
- Retaining walls to adjoining properties
- Landscaping suitable for dementia care patients
- Internal fitout with war memorabilia displays
Independence and dignity for residents
RSL Care Romani Residential Aged Care is a place where residents can maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the support and care they need, all within a setting that feels like home.
Excellence in retirement living
Our construction team were awarded the MBA 2023 award in “Excellence in Retirement Living“ for Aged Care RSL Care Romani. The meticulous attention to detail in the creation of a unique brick, reflective of the Battle of Romani, is truly impressive and demonstrates an extraordinary level of dedication to honoring the theme of the Residential Aged Care Home. The team's approach on trade engagement, choosing an apprentice every 104 days of construction, was a brilliant idea that not only encouraged quality work but also rewards safety demonstration and a commitment to fostering talent and promoting safe practices. The project was delivered with zero safety incidents reflecting our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety on site. This project showcases an exceptional blend of creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to quality and safety. It sets a high bar for future projects and is a clear winner of this Master Builders award.
