Upgrading the member’s facilities and public arrival breezeway deck
Located only 45 minutes from Melbourne, the Mornington Racecourse is a premier destination for thoroughbred racing, corporate entertainment and major events.
Schiavello Construction VIC was contracted to upgrade the member’s facilities and public arrival breezeway deck. A contemporary stand-alone pavilion with a butterfly roof was also constructed to provide a flexible and unique finish line experience.
Enhancing the races
Designed by Technē Architecture + Interior Design, timber decking and gabion wall landscaping features prominently and complements a relaxed combination of metal and brass finishes. In addition, the project included the installation of a commercial kitchen, three bars, custom joinery, feature ceilings, a glazed facade, and feature lighting.
