Restoring the resort's 4.5-star rating
Cumberland Lorne Resort's coveted beachfront location is known for its appeal to conference and leisure guests alike. Over the years, the venue has evolved to a celebrated regional attribute. To remain competitive with surrounding resorts, the client engaged Schiavello Construction VIC to restore the venue's 4.5-star rating.
Designed and built to enhance a relaxed atmosphere
NH Architecture was responsible for the design with a brief to enhance the resort's relaxed beach feel. The design and construction also took into account the hotel's high traffic.
As the head contractor, our Victorian construction team was responsible for completing all building refurbishments while ensuring works had minimal - if any - impact on the resort's operational needs.
Updating an entire resort
The refurbishment covered the resort's 99 apartments, bar and restaurant, and the reception area. Works also included an overhaul of the pool filtration and mechanical mechanisms, including the new wading pool, and the refurbishment of the pool and gym complex.
The external facade of the restaurant received a new coat of paint while our construction team also coordinated the supply of new furniture to the different areas of the hotel.
