Delivering an authentic hotel experience
As demand for corporate travel rises, Pan Pacific Hotels Group has created an authentic and memorable hotel experience in Perth that caters to the needs of today's travellers.
Schiavello Construction carried out the multi-million dollar overhaul. the project covered 124 guest rooms, and eight suites remodelled across five floors, in addition to the floor lift lobbies and corridor space upgrades.
The existing reception and lobby areas were also upgraded to include a new business suite and luggage store.
Guest rooms with upgraded technology
Led by the design aesthetics of the international branding, Pan Pacific Hotels Group collaborated with HASSELL to create a serene retreat that accommodates the modern traveller's every need.
Although soft and luxurious, the guest rooms feature upgraded technology such as LED interactive TVs and iPhone docking stations, enhanced internet connectivity, and a designated workspace for the corporate traveller.
Bespoke furniture creates a memorable stay
Each room is complemented by an extensive range of bespoke furniture. The pieces were developed from HASSELL's custom designs, and produced by Schiavello subsidiary MAP.
Finished in timber veneer, and fitted uniquely to each room, the comfortable and contemporary collection includes a desk, chaise lounge, entertainment unit, credenza, lamp, coffee table, headboard, and bedside table.
A harmonious mix of materiality
A new arrival experience also transformed the hotel lobby into a spacious, engaging, and serene space to immediately welcome guests.
Guests' attention is immediately drawn towards the large pod-style check-in counters. Clad in timber veneer, the counters feature overhead custom canopy feature lighting. A backdrop of sandstone cladding creates a soft feel with its unique and natural colour.
The counters are flanked by symmetrical timber veneer feature walls - each wall is three-meters long and features integrated custom lighting solutions that change colour throughout the day.
Our construction team managed long lead times to successfully install unique finishes - including heavy sandstones and marble. Forward planning and staged works ensured the hotel remained fully operational at all times with minimal disruption to guests.
