The original Australian sit-stand Krossi Workstation was the star on the night, taking out both the Business Impact Award and Silver in the Furniture: Benching category. A new award for 2023, the Business Impact title recognises ‘exceptional solutions through an enterprise-oriented lens’, with the winner deemed to be ‘contributing to business productivity and/or having an impact that benefits the end-user’s business goals’.
Encouraging natural movement in the workplace, Krossi enables endless reconfiguration with the use of its flexible articulator, allowing the formation of unique shapes and clusters. Its intuitive adjustments promote movement whilst the minimum understructure design provides a clean appearance with increased legroom.
Climate Workstation Program received the Sustainability Award, recognised for its malleability which enables organisations, teams and individuals to shape their work environment as needed and re-mould when needs change. The Climate Program is both UL Greenguard and GECA certified.
Taking out the Innovation Award, the Valli Sofa collection is also the latest range from Schiavello, demonstrating extensive research into movement and psychology in the workplace. Providing spaces for retreat, collaboration, conversation and focus, each of the three styles – Cove, Float and Drift feature a consistent design language, whilst the optional addition of power charging points enables productivity to continue beyond the desk.
Awarded Silver in the Acoustics & Privacy: Work Pods category, the Focus Quiet Rooms offer a range of precision engineered rooms which provide uninterrupted focus and privacy.
Peter Schiavello, Managing Director of the Schiavello Group says the recognition has come at the perfect time, as the brand ramps up its presence in the US market.
“It’s great to receive this recognition from the judges and the ideal way to start NeoCon for us, as we celebrate the opening of our first permanent US showroom space here in Chicago.”
“I’m not sure how many people came through the space on opening day, but there were times we struggled to keep up with the enquiries. A very good and humbling problem to have and one we look forward to solving over the coming days and weeks.”
