Transurban’s free-flowing Melbourne office

With 14 toll roads in its impressive Australian portfolio, Transurban decided to move its staff to a new workplace in Docklands, Melbourne. Schiavello provided furniture, interior construction and signage for the flexible office space, which was designed by HASSELL. The fitout utilises motifs of circular forms and curves to reflect transport circulation, featured throughout the highly stylised staircase, reception joinery, round glass meeting rooms, ceiling features and flooring patterns.

Accessorised Krossi makes for seamless working

Over 400 Krossi Workstations and mobile personal storage units were supplied to support a hybrid approach to flexible working. Each workstation supplied was fitted with integrated Lettric softwiring, as were meeting and team tables. Schiavello’s ability to provide Transurban with a prototype within 24 hours was testament to the team’s responsiveness throughout the entire project.

Schiavello Construction delivered the new tenancy fitout and managed all partitions, ceilings, staircase cladding, joinery and services requirements, including a large media wall and integrated audiovisual solutions. Schiavello’s in-house signage capabilities included computer-cut vinyl for individual work station identification, joinery cabinets, lockers and kitchen wear, while laser-cut acrylic letters were used for automotive themed enclosed offices.
